After being detained on charges of DWI on Sunday, Sweat paid a $3,000 bond. He still has time to explain the problem and finish his pre-draft.

One of the Longhorns’ best prospects, Sweat was awarded consensus All-American the previous season. In the second round of the league’s mock drafts, he was projected.

In 2023, he was again selected as the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. The well-known defensive tackle participated in 14 games during the previous season and recorded 45 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks, according to the NFL.
