According to reports, Kristaps Porzingis will be prepared to play in Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics.

Pierce remarked, “The best thing about [Porzingis] is he doesn’t have to be the best player.” You’re aware? Pierce stated on the most recent episode of the Ticket & The Truth podcast, “Just his presence alone on the defensive end, with his height and his athleticism to block shots, and his shooting ability that makes this offense unlock even.

“[Those] driving lanes that weren’t present in the previous series will be present because this guy is showing up.” You know, even with this 7-footer, someone is going to kick it out when they beat you at the baseline. I am aware that he won’t be perfect. Everything needs to be in place for him to unlock that offense and defense.”

Throughout the regular season, Porzingis averaged 20.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks for the Celtics in 57 games. On June 7, the NBA Finals get underway in Boston.
