Beer, country music, and NASCAR are a perfect combination, and this weekend in Nashville, one of the sport’s biggest stars will demonstrate this.
Busch Light partner Ross Chastain will drive a vehicle at Nashville Speedway during the Ally 400 that will showcase country music singers who are also sponsored by the beverage company.
The automobile will have appearances by Ashley Cooke, Austin Snell, Breland, Jordan Davis, Matt Stell, Nate Smith, Priscilla Block, and Riley Green.
I’m able to integrate several of my passions and am living the life I’ve always wanted. “I’m having a great time right now, and this car is one of the cool things I get to do,” Chastain said in a recent interview with Fox News Digital.
Chastain called his offseason decision to join the Busch Light squad a “full-circle moment.”
It’s everything I could have imagined it to be. And I didn’t even dream of this,” Chastain said. “Years ago, I have a funny, crazy story of sitting in a bar back home with some buddies in the off-season in December, and the Kevin Harvick/Busch Light yearly NASCAR calendar had just arrived, and they put it up, we were laughing about it, and they asked me what it would be like if they ever sponsored me.”We chuckled, and in December of this year, we had a complete circle in which I was that calendar. You got it, put it up, and all you had to do was sit down in advance of the season, at home, during a break, and watch that calendar come full circle. Getting there required a lot of labor, but the effort was worthwhile.”
Chastain says he’s been drinking Busch Light “long before they sponsored me, and I told them I’m gonna be drinking it long after they sponsor me,” so the partnership makes perfect sense.
“It just works out so much better that it’s natural for me that I was already drinking it,” adds the man.
However, the country tie is also somewhat of a small-world characteristic.
