Brown said to WCNC Charlotte anchor Colin Mayfield, “My dad and uncle were racers, or weekend warriors that would work during the week and race a couple of weekends a month.”

“My father and uncle were weekend warriors who would work as racers.

“I’m now trying to get cash flow in to cover bills and you want to be an elite racer but you also have to adhere to a budget,” Brown stated.

Brown takes on the task of owning and operating AB Motorsports head-on. And he claims that because so many glass ceilings were broken by men and women before him, he knew what was possible.

“I saw all the barriers broken when I was a kid,” Brown stated.

These days, Brown is putting that example to the highest use by adjusting the lives of those he interacts with.
