Liverpool drew 1-1 with 16th-placed Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday’s late kick-off.
A Dominik Szoboszlai free-kick gave Liverpool the lead in the first half, and Spurs looked miles off the home side’s level.
Despite this, Richarlison scored a stoppage-time equalizer, meaning Liverpool dropped two points and failed to get into the top four.
One moment in the second half had fans wondering if a long-distance free-kick from Szoboszlai is more likely to end up in a goal for Liverpool than counterattacks where the Reds outnumber the opposition.
TarzanJr: “Ekitike had only one job there ffs😔
Wayne: “We used to be guaranteed a goal on a counter, even when it was 2v4 instead”
James: “Other teams score these against us.. and this is about the tenth time this season..these are the basics for highly paid professionals, but yeah let’s blame Slot for it 🙄”
Karim: “What a return pass by Chiesa, by the way. But Hugo is far too greedy then. Has to pass it to Mo / Dom, who are in better positions, as the defender is already on his knees”
Erik: “Ekitike really gets away with the biggest stinkers because he pops up with a goal once a month. Same with Szoboszlai”
