‘He couldn’t always say no’: Jurgen Klopp’s agent reveals his likely next job

Jurgen Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke has admitted that the former Liverpool boss would find it difficult to reject another offer from the German FA to take over the national side.

“Jurgen feels very connected to this country. The question doesn’t even arise at the moment,” Kosicke told Transfermarkt.

“I don’t think he feels he has to do it at least once. Rather, he feels a sense of obligation, that he couldn’t always say no to the job.”
Klopp turned down an offer to become the Germany head coach in 2023, instead staying at Anfield for another year.

Now, he is employed as Red Bull head of global football, while Germany have Julian Nagelsmann in charge with a contract until 2028.
