Rio Ngumoha sees goal vs Brighton ruled out by wrongly judged offside – where is VAR?

Rio Ngumoha thought that he had helped extend Liverpool’s lead to 4-0 against Brighton in the 4th round FA Cup clash.
Soon after coming on in the pitch, the young winger was able to score a nice goal with a curling effort.
However, the offside flag quickly went up to cancel the goal, as the assistant referee judged him to be in an offside position.
The replays, however, showed that Ngumoha was clearly onside and the assistant referee had made a mistake.
Unfortunately for the young Liverpool winger, there is no VAR used in the 4th round of the 2025/26 FA Cup.
As a result, the technology couldn’t intervene and Ngumoha was robbed off a clear goal and keeping the score at 3-0 for Liverpool.
